Mourinho:“Chelsea Are Not Favourites To Win The Champions League, But Anything Is Possible”

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho, has said that his team are not one of the clubs expected to win this season’s Champions League competition, as they prepare to face Galatasaray in Istanbul.

Mourinho, who has won the trophy twice with FC Porto and Inter Milan, however says there is “room for a surprise”, as the Blues seek to win it for a second time too.

“We are not favourites, that’s obvious,” he added, when asked to sum up his side’s hopes of winning this season’s Champions League.

“When a team reaches the quarterfinals, anything is possible. I think this round is a very important round for every team because the teams that reach the quarter-finals can have a little feeling when they arrive in the quarterfinals.
