That is why it is necessary once in a while to take time out to sharpen the axe. My dear viewers, it is wisdom for us to admit that the longer we work without rest, the less efficient we become.
God built the principle of renewal into our lives from the story of creation. He worked for six days and rested on the seventh.
We need one day in the week to unwind, to reflect on our goals for the week and to plan for the next week. We need to rest, play and worship because real success comes with a balance.
Once in a while, trees sheed their leaves, birds shed their feathers, and snakes shed their skin so they can experience something new. Our vehicles need to be serviced once in a while too. As human beings, we are also designed for renewal.
The scriptures say; "But those who wait on the lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint."
Take time out to rest; review your goals, play with your family and worship God. Get fresh inspiration, because if you are not inspired, you will expire.
